United States Air Force (USAF) personnel support the NRO mission through the efforts of numerous scientists, engineers, acquisition, and operations specialists. The work of these professionals is vital to the well-being of our nation as today's overhead systems are increasingly integrated into real-time combat operations, as well as U.S. homeland security and worldwide humanitarian assistance/disaster relief efforts.
